Sofitel Lafayette Square is my go-to in DC. First stay, staff helped with directions, unforgettable. It has everything I need - luggage storage, 24-hour reception, bar, fitness studio. Perfect fit. Can't wait to return for New Year's.

Great location and service. Granted early check-in. Good restaurant and bar. Clean and comfortable room. Quick room service. Friendly staff.

This hotel features exclusive and luxurious amenities, such as a beautifully appointed room with modern decor, a comfortable king-size bed, and a private bath equipped with upscale toiletries. the leisure/TV room, which features a large flat-screen TV and a comfortable sitting area, was another highlight.

The only minor issue was the lack of a special diet menu at the restaurant. the staff was accommodating and able to make recommendations for healthy options.

The hotel was fairly clean with gorgeous rooms and informative staff. Its excellent service. The location turned out to be ideal.

I chose this hotel for a business meeting and was impressed by the state-of-the-art audiovisual equipment provided by Encore, which left a positive impression on my current and potential business partners. The welcoming sitting area was a great place to unwind after a busy day of meetings, providing a comfortable and professional setting.

One service that I missed for my work was a fully equipped business center.

The rooms were inviting and tidy here with a lovely bathroom as well as the big couch. The location was stunning, a 10-15 minute walk from Washington Monument.

The staff were not very friendly, didn't expect that coming.

Thanks for the very nice stay, no complaints. It is a gorgeous property located in Downtown D.C. District right by major attractions, the White House and monuments and many great restaurants.

The room was fabulous, very spacious, and clean. the beds were comfortable, providing a good night's sleep. the location of the hotel was also fantastic, right in the heart of the city with easy access to all the main attractions. Additionally, the hotel staff was friendly and accommodating, always willing to help with any requests.

The free internet provided by the hotel was quite slow and unreliable. It was difficult to get any work done or even browse the web smoothly.

We loved our functional rooms, plus the staff was funny. Our room had an exceptionally comfortable bed and a good view. It had great attached restaurant.

The hotel was cozy with variety of beautiful rooms. The service was good, no complaints, it was just what we needed. The outdoor bar was superb and the staff were accommodating.

Sinking into the generous comfort of the signature Sofitel MyBed™ was like floating on a cloud. It was as if the bed had its own microclimate, custom-made for the most blissful slumber. I woke up feeling like a freshly baked croissant, ready to seize the day.

warm welcome from the receptionists. Perfect location 2 minutes walk from the White House. lobby is pleasant and hot cider is available every evening. room was spacious and bed comfortable. breakfast was also of good quality although a little expensive.

The hallways upstairs are a bit old-fashioned. There should be more lighting in the bedroom as some areas are quite dark. Finally, a jack plug on the bose system would be nice, undone bluetooth.

The location,... Cleanliness. The quality of materials and furniture,

high price of the parking lot and breakfast... non respect of the commitments: the staff had declared to provide us with an adapter for plugs and after 2 reminders nothing was done!!

The hotel is close to all major places of interest. The rooms are large and well equipped. The restaurant offers a varied menu for the different meals of the day.

The waiters are nice but not very professional. Thirty minutes of waiting for cereal and a croissant!

The location of Sofitel was perfect for a tourist like us, with easy walking access to the White House and the National Mall. We also enjoyed the complimentary coffee and high-quality teas available in the lobby every morning. Our corner room was spacious, modern, and immaculately clean, with a huge TV, comfy king-size bed and Lanvin toiletries. we had a luxurious stay that lived up to the Sofitel standard. Despite minor setbacks like no coffee makers in the room and a small lobby, we would highly recommend this hotel.

Located near WHITE HOUSE. The room is clean and tidy, the bedding is comfortable, the people are welcoming. What a great stay!

I stayed at Sofitel for a weekend getaway in downtown DC. The location was perfect, just two blocks away from the White House and within walking distance to all the major attractions. The staff was incredibly friendly and helpful, from the bell hops to the concierges. The room was beautifully decorated and the spacious, clean bathroom had all the necessary amenities. The breakfast was delicious, especially the French Toast, and the complimentary bicycle code was a great bonus for exploring the city.

The location of the hotel was fantastic, as it was right on the heels of leaving another conference in New Mexico. It was so close to the main attractions and conveniently located near many tourist attractions. We also enjoyed the cocktail bar, where the bartender made such excellent cocktails in the evening. The room was comfortable and had a nice view.

Located in the area for Sneaker Con Sept 7-8, this hotel is close to all the main attractions in the city, making it an excellent place to stay. The rooms are spacious and well furnished, with comfortable beds and sizable bathrooms. The service is good and accommodating, with helpful staff always ready to assist. The bar is a nice place to unwind and relax after a busy day exploring the city.

The gym is small and could use an upgrade with newer equipment.

The room at Sofitel Lafayette Square was like a dream - the MyBed™ was so comfy, and the separate living room with a huge TV made me feel right at home. The minibar was a fun touch for mixing up drinks, and the marble bathroom felt super luxurious.

The glass-enclosed shower was a bit too snug for my liking, but others might not mind.

Wow, the hotel was filled with American history memorabilia, like Dorothy's ruby slippers and Seinfeld's puffy shirt. The Opaline Bar had a great ambiance and drew inspiration from French art. The location was spot-on, close to everything!

The location of the hotel is also a huge plus, with major attractions like the White House and the National Mall within walking distance. We loved the location of the hotel! It was really close to Metro, so we were able to easily get to almost everything worth seeing in central DC. Plus, it was right next to a metro stop, which was super convenient. The hotel was also close to EVERYTHING we wanted to see, especially the White House. We also enjoyed the breakfast and the staff was very friendly and helpful.
